The canal, and its basin, in particular, provides the ideal waters for model boating.
Chichester Model Boat Group has permission to sail their craft on the canal. If you wish to sail a model boat here, you must be a member of this group. Membership is free.
The group meets on Sunday mornings at 10.30am at the Canal Basin. There is a limited amount of free parking and refreshments can be purchased from the cafe.
Please note: The group rules do not permit fast electric or boats powered by internal combustion engines.
The group has a free sail policy and therefore competition sailing is not permitted.
