Family fun at the canal

Funky sunglasses, pretty plates and hula hoops

On 26th July, the sun finally shone on over 150 adults and children, who came to our Family Fun day event. This was good news… especially for the organising volunteers… as outside games had been planned.

We saw impressive displays with hula hoops, good and not so good hand to eye coordination throwing balls etc. Indoors, children enjoyed decorating paper plates, making and decorating funky sunglasses and more.

Mum, Jo, said “what a great event, we love all the arty, crafty things to do here”.

The next Family Fun day is planned for 23rd August.
