Bat update
The Hampshire Bat Group has recently completed its annual bat transact surveys along Chichester Canal. They have recorded reasonable numbers of Daubentons along with large numbers of soprano and common pipistrelles, occasional serotines and noctules and at least three records of the unusual Nathasius pipistrelle (pictured here).
