Accolade for Heritage Centre

You may have seen in the local newspapers that the Heritage Centre has been awarded a Chichester City Council Award for Local Historic Interest for 2019. Early in February our archive team (Moira, Roger and Sue) attended a Civic Presentation Evening, hosted by the Mayor. They received a designated plaque which will hang in the Heritage Centre. We were surprised and honoured to be given the award. But we were also delighted that the dedicated work of the large team of people involved in the redesign and updating of the Heritage Centre has been recognised by the City Council. The evening also provided an excellent opportunity to network with those who may be able to support and contribute to our work in expanding the activity of the Heritage Centre.

Do come in and admire the plaque next time you are visiting the Heritage Centre.
