Volunteers’ week is a success

7 days of “thank you’s”

Each day for a week from 1 to 7 June, we have thanked our 165 volunteers in pictures, stats and in the media, for the amazing work that they do. The cafe was adorned with bunting and balloons.

On Tuesday, 5th June, the Trust held a BBQ which over 100 attended. Volunteers were treated to an excellent meal cooked up by Argent, salads prepared by some of the cafe volunteers and of course plenty to drink! The evening went with a swing, thanks to a trio of jazz musicians from Georgia Ramblers. A well deserved thank you for a year of hard work.
