Bullion Run to celebrate 190th anniversary
A re-enactment of Dashwoods Bullion Run with a cavalcade of small boats as part of the 190th anniversary of the opening of the canal. Along the canal and ending at the basin at approx. 2.00pm for a display of model boats.

Guided Walk (6 miles) in conjunction with Sussex Industrial Archaeological Society.
A linear guided walk along the old Portsmouth and Arundel Navigation tow path
from Barnham Court Farm, Church Lane, Barnham (follow signs from Murrell Arms) to Hunston. See the engineering remains of the canal along the way. Approx. 6miles. Bring packed lunch. Parking available at the start.

Poyntz Bridge open
Situated aprox. 200 metres south of the canal basin, Poyntz Bridge is possibly the only single span 1820 cast iron swing bridge in the UK. Plus a display of photos and artefacts.
At 2.00pm there will be a guided walk around the canal basin led by Alan Green, illustrating the history of past industry around this canal feature. In conjunction with Sussex Industrial Archaeological Society.

at Donnington Parish Hall, Stockbridge Road, Chichester. Told with a rollicking mix of old music hall and new songs, to tell the story of love between people and the land, people and people, and people and their giant vegetables.
