City parade of lanterns

We invite you to gather on 10th June from 5.00pm in Priory Park for a spectacular carnival of lights. The carnival will leave at 6.00pm and will be preceded by fun crafts and activities. Led by samba band, Bateria Brasoc, we will parade with a sea of lanterns through the streets of Chichester to the Canal Basin, where there will be performances, activities, food and more! The walk is expected to take 30 to 40 minutes and is wheelchair accessible.

Just bring yourself, your friends and family. Wear bright colours, comfy shoes and dress for the weather! Street food will be available at the Canal.

Do come and celebrate and join the party as you parade with your friends. The event is expected to conclude at 8.30pm.

This event is organised by Chichester Festival Theatre as part of the Culture Spark 2022 initiative.
