Chichester Canal enters Tripadvisor hall of fame

Certificate of excellence 5 years in a row

We are thrilled to announce that Chichester Canal has been awarded Tripadvisor’s Certificate of Excellence for the 5^th consecutive year. These certificates are not earned easily as we have to receive a high number of customer reviews at 4 stars and above. And because Chichester Canal has been given this coveted accolade for the 5^th year in row, we will now be recorded in Tripadvisor’s Hall of Fame.

So we owe a very big thank you to all of our wonderful customers who have taken the time to write lovely things about us.

Being entered into Tripadvisor’s Hall of Fame during Volunteers Week, which we are celebrating from 1^st June, is perfect timing. It is Chichester Canal’s 140+ volunteers, providing great service, who have put us where we are. These people give us their time looking after the Canal environment, crewing boat trips and serving in the Cafe, as well as lots of other activities, and they all do it with a smile. This honour is all down to the dedication of our volunteers.

We are also pleased to congratulate TJ Boardhire, who run their paddleboarding club on the Canal. They have also received Tripadvisor’s Certificate of Excellence. Well done!

And to our customers, it is the perfect time of year to enjoy the Canal. Take a boat trip, have a quiet coffee beside the water or walk the towpath. Come and see what all the fuss is about.
