Chichester Leaflet Exchange

Busy day networking and swapping leaflets

On yet another wet and grey day in Chichester, 3 noble volunteers loaded up the car and set off for the Minerva Theatre… at least it was warm and dry inside. The “leaflet exchange”, as it is known, is organised by Visit Chichester. It has a simple purpose… to provide a forum for Southern attractions and tourism businesses to set up shop and advertise by swapping leaflets. Around 46 organisations were exhibiting over 2 floors and the atmosphere was relaxed and fun.

Between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m., we all welcomed other businesses, including many accommodation providers, to pick up leaflets to share with future holidaymakers.

With a steady flow of customers to our stand, we distributed over 1500 leaflets and collected as many to put on our rack by the Canal Heritage Centre.

Very many thanks to our volunteers for some excellent work and to Visit Chichester for a very successful event. The free drinks and biscuits were greatly appreciated.
