Canal boat trips have been cancelled with immediate effect

At a meeting of our directors this morning, 17 March, it was agreed that we should cease our boat trips with immediate effect. If you already have a booking, please be assured that our Box Office staff will be in contact with you. As you can imagine, they will be very busy, so please be patient as there are many to contact. This was a difficult decision and we are very disappointed to be taking this action; we trust that you will understand our position in the light of the current public health situation and the need to keep our customers and volunteers safe and well. We will continue to reassess our position based on government guidelines.

Regarding the Cafe, we intend to stay open for as long as possible and are redesigning the table layout  to offer more space between tables. On a pleasant day, there is ample space to sit outside and enjoy the views and fresh air. We will be reviewing Cafe opening on a daily basis, so do watch this space.
