Walk the tramway and discover some history

‘Walk The Selsey Tram Way’ will be launched on Saturday 27th August – the 125th anniversary of the first train journey. You are invited to join Manhood Wildlife and Heritage Trust (MWHT) to walk the route either the whole length or a section. Meet 10.30am at Chichester Station car park (south side) to walk to The Anchor in Sidlesham (5.4 miles) or 2.00pm at The Anchor Inn car park, Sidlesham to walk to East Beach (6.4 miles) Please email billm89@nullhotmail.com to register your interest.

Metal signs displaying the Selsey Tram Way already exist at East Beach car park and Golf Links Lane in Selsey. MWHT plans to attach ‘Tram Way’ signs to other WSCC metal posts at Stockbridge, Canal bend, Hunston B2145, The Anchor and Ferry Bend.
