Lots of fun while volunteering

Do you have just a few hours to spare each month? Do you enjoy fresh air and meeting new people? Are you moderately fit and looking to have some fun? Yes? then please join us as voluntary cabin crew members. Throughout the year, we charter our larger boat, Richmond, for groups who want to take a leisurely 2 hour boat trip down the canal. Some trips are catered, other not. One thing that all of our passengers have in common is that they absolutely love the trips and many groups return each year.

What’s involved? well not enough space to describe here but the essentials are a big smile, a warm welcome to our passengers and a minimum of 4 hours per month (that’s just 1 trip a month). In return you will be rewarded with delighted passengers, many laughs along the way, a free trip down the canal and a feel good factor that words can’t describe. Volunteers must be over 18, as we serve alcohol, male or female, and of moderate fitness… we do have trolleys to move provisions from the canal centre to the boat so no heavy lifting involved.
