POSTPONED Model boat endurance race

POSTPONED DUE TO BAD WEATHER Model boats of all shapes and sizes take part in a marathon

When all is rather quieter at the canal, on Sunday, 5th March, Chichester Model Boat Club will be joined by Portsmouth Model Boat Display Team to deftly control their boats from the canal basin to Hunston and back.

Some 20 or so participants and their boats will arrive at 11.30 a.m. and will aim to set off at around 12.30. They will be sailing for up to 2 hours…. quite an achievement for these small craft.

Please note that parking at the canal basin will be very limited, but do turn up to view this flotilla.
