See below for how to book.

Here at the canal we’re really excited to be a venue for events this summer as part of the Chichester Fringe. CHICHESTER FRINGE was created in direct response to the covid-19 pandemic and recognising the need to give performers a safe space to perform, as well as provide entertainment for audiences far and wide.

The organisers sensed that there was an opportunity, as there was plenty of talent about but nothing like a fringe anywhere around the city.

OUR AIM is to support and mentor up and coming performers of the local area and beyond, by providing a free, safe space to perform. Enabling them to showcase their work.

Chichester Fringe 2022 will comprise fringe events in three venues in the city, some of which will be broadcast via the internet.

Promoting the diversity of the arts in Chichester, we are proud to be working in partnership with other local organisations, including:

  • Graylingwell Chapel
  • Uiversity of Chichester
  • Chichester Canal
  • The Oxmarket
  • Festival of Chichester

As part of our bicentennial anniversary season, we are hosting two events on Saturday 16th July. Both events take place upstairs in the cafe, and refreshments will be available to purchase.

You can secure your tickets in plenty of time by emailing boxoffice@nullchichestercanal.com or by phoning us on 01243 771363, or by popping into the cafe.
