Admiral Sir George Murray, Chichester Mayor in 1815 and Captain of the Fleet and Admiral Lord Nelson’s Friend led the battle of Copenhagen. It was Murray’s finest hour. To celebrate the 200th anniversary of this amazing battle, Portsmouth Model Boat Club Display Team will be re-enacting the battle, complete with sailing ships, Trekronner fort and firing canons. A thrill for all members of the family!
Parking for this event is available at Chichester High School car park, accessed from Kingsham Avenue.
