Illuminated model boats escort Father Christmas on MS Richmond

On Sunday 29 November we have a real treat in store at the Canal Basin. From 3.30 onwards Chichester and Portsmouth model boat clubs will be sailing their flotilla of boats… all illuminated…. in the basin, festive music will be playing from the balcony, mulled wine and hot chestnuts will be available. Between 4.30 and 5, the famous man in the red suit will be arriving at the basin by boat to say hello to the boys and girls and to switch on the lights. An event not to be missed!
