Volunteers celebrate Epiphany

On a very wet and windy January day, a large number of volunteers gathered at the Canal Centre for a celebration of Epiphany… continental style.

The Trust organised this small party as a thank you for the endless hours that so many volunteers worked in the run up to Christmas. It was themed… complete with ‘galette des rois’ traditional cake… continental cheeses etc to celebrate the arrival of the three kings to the manger. Cafe staff member Angela and Mum, Holly, baked the kings’ cakes and they tasted absolutely delicious. Thank you!

Feedback was very good, with everyone enjoying the opportunity to gather in the dry, catch up with colleagues and enjoy refreshments.
