The towpath is now open!

Bank restoration work completed in time for the bicentenary anniversary

Hooray the towpath is open! We are pleased to announce that Cain Bio have completed the bank repair work and WSCC Public Rights of Way have approved the footpath reinstatement. The footpath closure has been lifted and is open for use by canal users as we write! Many thanks to our many towpath users for your patience during recent weeks.
