University of Chichester music at the canal

2^nd October 3-4 p.m.

As part of our planned 2022 series of events to celebrate the canal’s 200^th anniversary year, we have engaged with University of Chichester staff and students. And plans are afoot! But in the meantime, on Saturday 2^nd October, between 3 and 4 p.m., we’re looking forward to welcoming music students. They will be singing with keyboard accompaniment on the balcony of our waterside Cafe. Please come along and support them while enjoying a drink upstairs or outside, if dry.

This isn’t the first collaboration with the University and we hope for many more. On this occasion, via the auspices of the Chichester District Council’s Season of Culture program, we have been exploring partnership options with other key organisations. (This program is in place to celebrate those who are celebrating milestone anniversaries in 2022, e.g. the Canal, Pallant Gallery and the Novium). We are planning to showcase a couple of musical events, provided by University students during 2022.
