Refuelling ready for the next leg
On a sunny May lunchtime, a number of cyclists from the Wimborne branch of the Dorset Cycle Network dropped in to the cafe for much needed refreshments. They were completing a tour of West Sussex, no doubt following our own intrepid Dorothy Cox up the road!
The Dorset Cycle Network promotes cycling as environmentally friendly transport because it improves health, reduces air pollution and helps to relieve road congestion.
They are not anti car; indeed many of them are car users who try to use a bike instead of a car whenever possible in order to reduce our carbon footprint.
We were delighted to welcome such a cheerful group and hope they return in the not too distant future
