Both the Egremont and Richmond boats can be hired for private events.  The narrow boat Egremont seats up to 12 and Richmond provides comfortable seating for 28, with a maximum of 42 passengers (please discuss seating layouts when making your booking).

Our cruises provide a unique venue for a party to celebrate your special occasion, while passing through pleasant countryside with ever-changing scenery and wildlife.

The Standard Cruise is a return trip from the Canal Basin to Donnington (see prices below).
We offer three catered arrangements for this cruise:
Tea - tea or coffee, with a selection of sponge cakes;
Cream Tea - tea or coffee, scones with jam and cream and a selection of sponge cakes;
Bargee's Lunch - a lunch of bread, salad and choice of cheese, with tea, coffee, wine or beer.

In addition to these options, we are able to supply assorted sandwiches for just £2.20 each and tea, coffee or fruit juice, including refills can be provided for a charge of £1.00 per person.

Alternatively you may bring your own food and drinks; there is no corkage charge if you wish to bring your own wine.  All cutlery, crockery & glassware are provided free of charge.

All charter cruises must be booked in advance, a non-returnable deposit of £30.00 for the Egremont and £50.00 for the Richmond is payable to reserve your booking, with the balance due 10 days prior to the cruise. Cheques payable to "Chichester Canal Trading Ltd."
