Both the Egremont and Richmond boats can be hired for private events.  The narrow boat Egremont seats up to 12 and Richmond provides comfortable seating for 28, with a maximum of 42 passengers (please discuss seating layouts when making your booking).

Our cruises provide a unique venue for a party to celebrate your special occasion, while passing through pleasant countryside with ever-changing scenery and wildlife.

The Standard Cruise is a return trip from the Canal Basin to Donnington (see prices below).
We offer three catered arrangements for this cruise:
Tea - tea or coffee, with a selection of sponge cakes;
Cream Tea - tea or coffee, scones with jam and cream and a selection of sponge cakes;
Bargee's Lunch - a lunch of bread, salad and choice of cheese, with tea, coffee, wine or beer.

In addition to these options, we are able to supply assorted sandwiches or individual salads for just £3.00 each and tea, coffee or fruit juice, including refills can be provided for a charge of £1.50 per person.

Alternatively you may bring your own food and drinks; there is no corkage charge if you wish to bring your own wine.  All cutlery, crockery & glassware are provided free of charge.

All charter cruises must be booked in advance, a non-returnable deposit of £30.00 for the Egremont and £50.00 for the Richmond is payable to reserve your booking, with the balance due 14 days prior to the cruise. Cheques payable to "Chichester Canal Trading Ltd."
