Scheduled boat trips...
Our 12 seater narrowboat Egremont operates from the Canal Basin providing 75 minute return trips as far as the Crosbie Bridge at Donnington. Accessible to wheelchair users (but please arrive in plenty of time for boarding).
2012 Schedule of Departures:
11 February to 19 February: two trips per day at 11.00am and 1.45pm.
17 March to 4 November: four trips per day at 10.15am*, 12.00noon, 1.45pm, and 3.30pm
*N.B. the 10.15am trips include tea / coffee at no charge.
Fares (2012):
- Adult: £5.50
- Child (age 12 or under): £3.50

We strongly advise you to call to check
the availability of seats if you are travelling some distance. In the
school holidays and in spells of good weather the trips are very
popular. The first and last trips of the day are often the best: the
light is more interesting and you see a greater abundance of wildlife.
